What Is A Brand Ambassador?

A brand ambassador is someone that is hired by an organisation or a company to represent a brand in a positive way. The brand ambassador will promote the brand within their network and work to increase brand awareness and conversions.


A brand ambassador is a representation of the brand, and should be the face of the company. They are there to embody the company and organisation with their demeanour, values and ethics, and add a personal touch to any marketing campaigns.


The main benefit of having a brand ambassador is that they will promote and recommend the products and brand, connect with new customers and strengthen the companies relationship with their customers. Brand ambassadors will essentially be influencing a large audience to buy and consume the product or services.


Predominantly, a brand ambassador is known as a positive spokesperson for the company. They are often someone that either has a large online platform, is a niche authoritative figure, or is a passionate and loyal existing employee or customer.
